(Distance) Reiki Q&A
What are the benefits of Reiki?
By rebalancing your energy, Reiki can help you with:
- Releasing emotional blockages
- Enhancing the mind-body connection
- Reducing stress and promoting relaxation
- Setting intentions and aligning goals
- Increasing self-confidence and sense of safety
- Relieving pain and tensions
- Supporting traditional medical treatments
How can distance Reiki work?
Distance Reiki can work as effectively as in-person Reiki due to the nature of energy healing. The underlying principle of Reiki is that it harnesses the universal life force energy, which is not bound by physical limitations like time and space, and it can be channeled across distances.
Who is distance Reiki for?
Distance Reiki is for anyone seeking physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. It’s for everyone, regardless of age, gender, or background, as long as you’re open and receptive to it!
How is a distance Reiki session going to make me feel?
The exact experience can vary from person to person since you take the energy you need where you need it. But here are some common ways a distance Reiki session can make you feel: deep relaxation, emotional release, warmth, tingling sensations, improved sleep, pain or tension relief.
How does a distance Reiki session look like?
First, you give me your full name and location so I can focus on the right person!
Then it’s quite simple. 10 minutes before the session, you prepare yourself – turn off your phone, sit or lie down as you prefer, and I recommend having a blanket, a cover, or dressing warmly. Choose a calm environment or play relaxing music. Make sure you won’t be disturbed.
If you want, you can set an intention – a physical or mental benefit that you expect from the session. It’s not mandatory.
During the session, just relax, that’s all you have to do, really. Breathe calmly. You may even fall asleep, that’s all good but set a timer if you have time constraints!
How long is a distance Reiki session?
The session itself lasts 40mn. I’d invite you to spare one hour in your calendar so you have a bit of time before/after the session.
Why do I only offer distance Reiki sessions?
I find it easier to focus 100% that way.
It allows me to help more people as there are no geographical constraints – except the time zone maybe, I’m CEST / CET.
Also, a lot of people prefer to be in the comfort and safety of their own place, and not having to deal with driving or public transportation before and especially after the session.
What if you don’t believe in Reiki?
Well, not to be blunt, but I think it’s better to save yourself (and myself) some time and to go for something you believe in.
